Review: Robin Hood Prince of Thieves it's certainly not but very funny - Have watched many incarnations of Robin Hood but have never seen this version until now and am glad I finally got round to it. This is a parody of Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner but instead starring Cary Elwes who as he says in the film can do an English accent, there are nods to that film alongside the musical numbers thanks to Mel Brooks of Blazing Saddles fame who again shows his magical twist on an old English folk hero that has been onscreen for decades with various actors taking on the mantle from Douglas Fairbanks Junior to Taron Egerton. The most infamous and best onscreen film version will always be Errol Flynn but that doesn't take away from Cary Elwes who really should have been in Prince of Thieves as Robin but Kevin Costner was the choice hence why they make a little joke of it. Definitely one to see if fan of Robin Hood or Mel Brooks films as won't be disappointed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Robin Hood Prince of Thieves it's certainly not but very funny

Have watched many incarnations of Robin Hood but have never seen this version until now and am glad I finally got round to it.
