Channel selection is easy, you just choose the same to the other walkie talkie you have and don’t have to change it, if for example you use it only with your family. Weight is like like a normal phone, so its ok. Suitable for kids, my youngest is 7yo and he use it pretty well. The quality is excellent and never have a problem with battery life.
