I do have the em250 though, so am reviewing it. Ok so i've always been warned against emachines but walmart had this little thing for $260 and I was out christmas shopping for myself last year (2009). So I bought one for me and one for my brother for christmas as well. Figured its walmart and I could always return it. Got them in December and no problems but then that July I was watching a youtube video and the video was playing well but the sound started gliching. Bad Soundcard?? For example if the video would be saying the word "dog" it would say "ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd" and then continue eventually. It didn't spell out each letter, it said it like that! ha. So I was worried but it didn't happen again till around a month later. And then I was still kinda worried but figured again i'd ride it out. Well here I am a year later riding it out still and it works great, and is a fast little machine still. BUT it still has that video/sound gliche where it does that about once a month or week now. For the price its good but I just worry it'll kill over soon and I don't know how to fix laptops. Ha. If you search around you can find an external disc drive for this for only $10-20, not bad. SO hope this helps. I do reccomend this but i'd definately purchase any warranty for it if I were you, just to be safe on the sound issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little laptop *by T***B on August 13, 2011* I bought this because of the price and had read reviews it was a great little netbook. The processor is a little slower than what I am used to on a big desktop computer but I knew that going in when I bought it.
