It holds monomer well and grabs acrylic powder well. The only thing I found wrong with it is that the acrylic does cake up in it. I did one nail and the brush was already vert gummy. It was also a little difficult to clean compared to my other brushes. Also when your patting your acrylic in place the hairs tend to stick to the acrylic as you pull the brush away.
