I rub the kernels in a very small amount of oil, like a teaspoon. Although every kernel pops, that small amount of oil leaves grease stains on the outside of the bag. I guess they aren’t meant to be grease proof for that purpose. I empty that bag into another of these bags to give to my kids and it does not leave any grease stains on the outside of the bag. These bags are a lot smaller than I thought, but that is my fault. I should have compared the dimensions to a standard lunch bag and bought the 5lb bags. These are excellent for portion control. I pop 1/8 cup in these bags. I would buy these again, but I’d buy the larger size.
