**Q: Are the ropes supposed to be dissolvable? we've been using the aquacel ag advantage ropes and they seem sturdier than these on removal.**
A: Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. When I changed my husband's wound's once he started to heal they didn't dissolve as much as before.

**Q: Do these have an expiration date? Can I store them in case of emergency?**
A: I store them. In a cool, dark closet for months. I haven’t had any problems.

**Q: How often do you replace?**
A: Everytime I changed his bandages I put fresh ones on.

**Q: Can this be washed?**
A: No.  It slowly disintegrates with wound exudate and keeps wound site somewhat bacteria free with the silver.  This is not a rope to wash in laundry.  It is a one and done.
