As a little background, I had a curbless shower created in my backyard “granny flat”. I chose a curbless shower, so that someone who is handicapped could roll their wheelchair directly into the shower area. The opening to the shower is about 30 inches between the wall and the glass partition. However, the water from the waterfall shower and even the handheld sprayer was just pouring out of the shower, no matter how careful we were. As I did not want to undo the curbless design, I went in search of a simple solution. This thick silicone curb fits the bill. I did have to trim it to adjust for the length of the shower opening. I wash the floor and then let it dry. Then it’s basically a peel and stick to the floor across the opening of my shower floor. It has a triangular shape. But it’s soft because it is silicone, so easy to glide over in a wheelchair. I did not use any other glue or caulking that was manufacturer recommended. So far, the peel & stick curb is adhering to the tile, and there is absolutely no water running out along the floor. We have tested it about it dozen times so far.
