## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could this be left long-term in place under mulch layer?**
A: It's made of plastic/rubber, so I see no reason it couldn't be left connected to a hose under a layer of mulch.

**Q: How long do you need to leave your water on to water with this devise?**
A: There's no answer to this question. It depends on the soil, the size of the plant's root ball, the outside temperature and humidity, etc. However with that being said, I planted over (50) 12 foot tall Green Giants who had quite a large root ball with complete 100% success. Those same trees are over 15 feet tall now. I used to run the water for one hour per tree and the water was just enough to make small water fountains (~ 2" tall) coming out of each opening. The beauty of the device is that almost 100% of the water goes to the root ball with very little waste. A small plant would take considerably less time/water. Hope this helps.

**Q: How difficult is it to get in position? I would have to put it away after each use, then put back 2-3 times a week. .**
A: I have had tis product since 2017 and am very happy with it.  I do not find it difficult to put in place.  I move it to different trees and find it quite easy to place.

**Q: Can this be used for a potted tree? (30 gal planter approx 2' across)**
A: Yes, the Waterhoop can be used for a potted tree. The pot needs to be at least 2’ in diameter.
