We keep the mat on the floor in our living room and it has become a daily thing for us to use it, whether we decide to lay down on the mat or just walk over with bare feet and step on it to decompress the feet a little. This acupressure mat instantly relieves the stress, I can feel it all throughout my body and my mind, my heart becoming more calm and relieved. I have noticed that using the mat on a hard floor, like wood, makes it more intense then using on a carpet, so be aware of where you do use it. It is best used without a shirt on so that you get more of the pressure on the direct skin. This mat is amazing. I have used a larger size mat in the past, but it's old and needed replacing. I was really on the fence about this set, but it turned out to be a great value for me. The smaller mat works just fine, and the pillow works nicely for neck and to place under my feet (after showering of course!) when they are achy. The eye pillow is nice as well, with a little zipper to take the case off so you can wash it and add more lavender to the insert. That's a very nice feature. The carry bag is nice as well, although I doubt I'll use it much.
