This kit is designed to create a mermaid; however, it is customizable so you can make it however you want. The instructions will lead toward a mermaid but if you cut the hair differently and adjust the clothing, it can become a merman. It is up to your personal creativity!

**Q: For the seller or manufacturer: where is the wool in this product?  the box says it contains "wool."  we don't use wool, so i need to know where it is**

This was a cute doll but definitely not for a child to put together without a great deal of assistance. If the child has had sewing lessons perhaps but even then the child would need help.
