Buy one. Use it until it breaks. That simple. There are some reviews on here that come across as if the users expected Orville Redenbacher himself to show up, separate the un-popped kernels, and clean up the mess. Other reviews say you can’t use small kernels. Do they really sell small medium and large popcorn? I know you can buy large, but I never heard of small. For me, the regular popcorn works just fine, there are a few un-popped kernels, and a few pieces blow out near the end of the cycle – which is pretty much the same for all air poppers.Onto better things. I like greasy popcorn, but I’m cutting down on saturated fat. The air popper works well for this. Butter flavored salt doesn’t stick to air pop, so I use about four quicks puffs of butter flavored cooking spray - on the finished product while it's in the bowl - to help the salt stick. According to the spray can, that’s “0” calories and “0” grams of fat, which we all know this is lie, but at least it makes us feel better, and it is way better for me than the 3+ tablespoons I was using to pop my corn in a kettle. Of course, the greasy stove popped corn tasted better – but we don’t buy air poppers for flavor. Last, it's much easier to clean than a kettle. So it ejects some corn right away until popped kernels weigh down unpopped kernels.Color is trending now. So it matches decor.Not too loud. But use in kitchen away from movie being viewed.Use the top measuring cup for melting butter if you don't plan on making multiple batches of popcorn. But don't use too melt butter if you plan to use as a measuring cup as butter and oil is not too be in air chamber at all. And butter would stick to kernels being measured and dumped into air chamber.Doesn't produce a lot of popcorn due to small size. The only issue I've had is adding salt. I know you can add butter from the top but I prefer adding salt. Getting the salt to stick is hard because it just falls right off. I've tried adding butter to it too, but then it's like you don't really need the salt and the butter didn't really spread well.
