**Q: Can the presents be removed?**
A: The presents cannot be removed.

**Q: what is knock down construction-does it lay flat to store?**
A: It probably would.  I don't store it that way.  It is kind of flimsy and I would be afraid of it breaking.  We have it on a high shelf in our garage for storage.  We cover it with a large sheet of plastic.
