The Balance World Inc ESP8266 ESP-01 is a compact and efficient WiFi transceiver module designed for seamless integration into various IoT applications. Operating on a 3.3V supply, it supports Wi-Fi Direct and is compliant with the 802.11 b/g/n standards, making it a versatile choice for developers and tech enthusiasts alike.

## Description

The New ESP8266 Serial WiFi Wireless Transceiver module provides a simple serial interface to the ESP8266 WiFi chip via an AT command set much like the HC-05/06 modules do for Bluetooth. The ESP8266 module provides an affordable way to connect your Internet of Thinks(IoT), home automation, or remote sensor project to WiFi. Please note: This module requires a 3V supply for VCC and 3V logic. It is not 5V tolerant. Connecting RX and TX on a 5V Arduino will destroy this module. You must use a logic level converter, or a 3V Arduino. The 3V supply on the Arduino Uno has inadequate current capability to power this module. You must provide a separate, higher current (300mA or higher) supply. The ESP8266 module is very new on the market and support and documentation for it is currently very limited. This module is not recommended for beginners at this time
