We have a large tank in the house but our son wanted one of his own. This is set up in his room, it comes with everything needed to set the tank up. It's a nice strong sturdy tank that comes with an easy to set up filter that is very effective and I should imagine good if you have smaller fish as it has a grill style bottom so won't suck your fish in. Comes with a heater if your wanting tropical fish but I'm unable to comment on the quality of the heater as I don't use is because I have a goldfish so it's not necessary. Comes with food and water preparation chemicals as well as a net to catch your fish for tank cleaning purposes. The lid comes completely off which makes it nice and easy to clean the tank.
