The jack stands I recieved have half the adjustment settings and are shorter than as listed. Amazon has been made aware but when I requested a refund I was transferred a lot, told it was against policy and that I would have to return the item and to pay shipping. I was even informed by a representative that I could not be helped even though my purchase was through amazon. The description also remains misrepresentative of the actual product even though amazon has been made aware. This is the second esco product I have purchased from amazon that was drastically different from what was described and not functional for my needs. Shame on both parties for misleading the consumer and continuing to do so. I certainly won’t be getting under a car to trust my life to this inferior stand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ All my uni-body vehicles lack great jacking points *by S***D on June 5, 2016* All my uni-body vehicles lack great jacking points. I wanted a jack stand with a flat rubber pad so I wouldn't leave marks on the sub-frame or suspension components the home mechanic must now use. To that end, these stands are perfect. One work of caution, these stands are probably too tall for most cars. I have the stand set to its lowest height but I have to lift my cars to the highest reach of my floor jack (20 inches) to get these stands under the cars. My SUV doesn't have this problem. It would be great if they would make a two pack of these stands under $100 that are 2/3 the minimum height for home use.EDIT: The minimum jack stand height with pin installed is 14 inches. I attached a bad photo for another shopper who had questions about modifying the stand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ SUPER HEAVY DUTY AND STABLE *by B***R on January 22, 2019* These Jack stands are honestly really great. I had an issue with my Audi SQ5 a few weeks ago. I was having a hard time troubleshooting the problem because I couldn't figure out where this clanking noise was coming from. I was going to put the car up on these jack stands that I had (a 2 ton set from AutoZone and a 3 Ton set from Lowes) and run the car to reproduce the noise. As I was jacking the front end up, I could literally see the 2 Ton stands in the back starting to bend due to the car shifting some. I noped right out of that situation and immediately ordered these.As soon as I got the SQ5 on these, I felt much better. They are firmly planted in their place and do now move whatsoever. I really felt like I could trust my life with these jack stands. The high price was totally worth it for that sense of security. Packaging was great and the finish of all 4 that I ordered was good as well. The higher than average height of these was also really helpful since I have an SUV.The ONLY complaint I have for these stands is that the included rubber pads failed (see picture) on the very first use with the pinch welds. Not really a big deal since you can use pretty much anything as a replacement. That being said, it was a little annoying that I'm down two pads now (both pads used on the pinch welds split, the other two were placed flat frame jacking points and had no issues).
