I didn’t feel like tripping and falling to my doom once again so I purchased this one. It is so comfortable in comparison. However, this one is solely foam and has some flex to it. The one from the doctor was rigid plastic. I think it would depend on your needs if this would work. Luckily mine is just a sprain so I just need to limit my range of motion and not keep it still completely.
