I followed the Youtube video posted by DIYMobileRepair, and the process went mostly smoothly. The only real problem was getting the new battery connector to seat properly. It's a tiny connector, and it took me many tries and probably about 30 minutes before I got it to seat in the phone's connector. And even when it's connected, it's still not a real tight connection...but you can definitely tell it's no longer loose.The two things that are a must-have to do this job properly fortunately come in another kit. You'll need a fine angled forceps (tweezers) to get the little screws out of and back into their holes. The magnetic screwdriver that comes with this kit isn't quite strong enough sometimes. The other thing you'll need is adhesive to reattach the back glass when you're done with the project. The kit with the adhesive and forceps is here: Ihttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BXYWXY8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. If you're going to tackle this job, do yourself a favor and spend the additional $8 for the forceps and adhesive. Both made the job much easier.Another tip: Take your time and use a hair dryer or heat gun on a low heat setting to soften the adhesive holding the back on before you try to remove it. It's tempered glass, and the adhesive is strong. If you don't soften it up with heat first, you risk breaking the glass. Take your time...don't rush. Keep the heat gun moving and after a few minutes, gently try to pry off the back using the instructions in the DIYMobileRepair video on Youtube. If it's not coming off relatively easily, try to gently heat it more.This project isn't for the faint of heart. It's a little nerve-wracking to take the back of your phone off and start removing the guts. But it's do-able. Go slow. Follow the directions. Of course, anytime you do work like this you're taking the risk that something will break, so be careful and if you're not willing to accept the risk, don't do it! ### ⭐ Garbage. Barely lasted a year *by G***W on Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2023* Barely lasted a year. Cell has begun to expand and push the cover off of phone. ### ⭐⭐ Battery lasted 9 months. No way to get ahold of customer service for the warranty *by J***Z on Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2020* The battery fit into the phone well and worked for 9 months before going kaput. The battery comes with a 1 year warranty but the only contact information on the website is an address in China. In this day and age, I shouldn't be dealing with a return by sending a letter overseas. I contacted Amazon but they had no further contact information. I submitted a question on the Amazon product page but did not get an answer.
