### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems like a good simple unit, no frills.

I've only been running the unit for about an hour and a half at this point, but it seems to work as advertised and very easily right out of the box. Filling was easy, just put the water in the tank, screw on the lid, and put it on the base. It's pretty quiet except for a tiny whine/hum, which for me isn't a problem because I always have a fan and air purifier/ionizer running anyway. It also does a little gurgle every half hour or so, sort of like if you turned a 2L of pop upside down over the sink. Will see if it disrupts my sleep at all tonight. I saw many reviewers claim the dial doesn't affect the steam level, but on mine it certainly does. Turned all the way down it's almost invisible, but definitely still putting out steam. At the highest setting it puts out a pretty visible stream, like a small e-cigarette or something. In the 1.5 hours I've run it, it's already raised my humidity level from 22%-27%, and it feels a lot better in here already. I think it will do what I need it to (stop me from waking up with my throat feeling like the Sahara Desert and 3 gallons of snot in my nose every morning). My bedroom is about 12x12 for reference. Update Dec 2021: This thing did exactly what I wanted all last winter, but I unfortunately left it sit for about a week at the end of winter and it got irrevocably musty. So here I am about to buy another one.
