(THEREFORE MINI DV, 8MM. Hi8, WILL NOT WORK) IF IT DOES'NT SAY VHS-C ON YOUR TAPES DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM, IT WILL NOT WORK. ALSO NOTE JVC TAPES DO NOT WORK. Review: Expensive - Its very expensive Review: Very efficient - but remove the plastic tape protector strip on the adapter! - Worked very well in playing all my VHS-C camcorder tapes, including a JVC tape that some info suggested wouldn’t be compatible. But a big word of warning - the cassette wouldn’t eject from my VHS player on the first time of use as the plastic flap which covers the tape was causing an obstruction and preventing the cassette mechanism from fully rising to the eject position. I had to manhandle the adapter out of my VHS player and then removed the plastic flap from the adapter. It ejected absolutely fine after that. I don’t know if my JVC VHS player was the issue, but the plastic flap is thicker than you find on actual VHS cassette tapes and this was enough to cause the obstruction. ## Features - Will NOT fit anything but VHS-C tapes. (Not 8mm, Mini DV, etc.) - ONLY VHS-C TAPES. - Requires 1 AA battery (not included) to operate. This includes opening and closing the lid. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00QV2T6II | | Best Sellers Rank | #618,171 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #16 in Home Audio Blank Media #48,801 in Home Theater, TV & Video | | Brand | KÖNIG | | Brand Name | KÖNIG | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Cameras | | Connector Type | Auxiliary | | Country of Origin | USA | | Current Rating | 1 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 10,614 Reviews | | External Testing Certification | Não aplicável | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05412810223084 | | Input Voltage | 1.5 Volts | | Item Dimensions | 26.5 x 14.2 x 2.5 Centimeters | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight Unit of Measure | 200 Grams | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 26.5 x 14.2 x 2.5 Centimeters | | Manufacturer | Konig | | Manufacturer Part Number | KN-VHS-C-ADAPT | | Model Number | KN-VHS-C-ADAPT | | Number of Ports | 2 | | Power Plug Type | No Plug | | Specific Uses For Product | VHS-C Tape | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Warranty Type | Limited | ## Product Details - **Brand:** KÖNIG - **Compatible Devices:** Cameras - **Connector Type:** Auxiliary - **Item Weight:** 200 Grams - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 26.5 x 14.2 x 2.5 Centimeters ## Images ![Motorised VHS-C Compact Video Cassette Tape Adaptor Battery Operated Camcorder - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71JOvbwuVgL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What does the adapter actually do.?
