They are meant to be super tiny so for kids I think doing the detail is hard, but she had a blast doing them and they turned out adorable. My daughter is 9 to give an example of age, but every kid’s skills are different. Review: Clay is unusable - The set itself is adorable. However, half the clay is completely dried out while the other half is super sticky and wet. I can work with the sticky stuff but the dried out clay is useless as it can't be shaped, therefore you can't complete the project. For the price, it definitely wasn't worth it. I bought some other clay kits from different brands and those look more promising. I suggest looking at other clay kits. ## Features - Teeny tiny food! create an entire menu of Teeny tiny clay food with the 10 kits included in this super set - Air-dry clay each kit features a different meal for you to form using the air-dry clay in the box - 10 kits! pancake breakfast, burger & fries, rainbow cake, spaghetti, candy, sushi platter, donuts, pizza party, cupcakes, and taco dinner - These clay kits offer hours of creative fun away from screens. I returned them. **Q: Is it a good size for Barbie dolls?** A: Yes, it would be the right size for Barbie dolls but I do not recommend purchasing. The clay was impossible to work. It was very wet and sticky. It is possible we got a bad batch, but it was supposed to be an activity at a Birthday party and it was a disaster. It just got stuck all over everyone's hands and wouldn't form. You could try it and see if you have better luck than us. **Q: Are these non toxic?** A: yes, non toxic or I wouldn't have purchased. **Q: Are the instructions only in video ?** A: The written instructions were good. We didn't use the video on youtube at all. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute! A little tough for younger kids *by C***T on July 18, 2020* Fun little kits.
