Mixed 1 cup of henna, with 2 TBS ACV and 1 cup coffee. I mixed in air tight plastic bowl, let set overnight and applied mixture in the morning to my hair. Left on head for 3.5 hours. I covered head in syran wrap, and cotton strand around my head to catch drips. My results were not what I want it to be. My gray roots were tinged with yellow color. I am about 70% gray. The next day my roots appeared to be a little darker. I am writing this review after 24 hours. My roots may get a little darker after oxidizing another day. Henna works different for every person, I have read that hair may need to get adjusted to Henna. My next application may work much better. I used it to make tattoo paste with lemon juice and sugar and lavender. Most say to let set for 24 hours after mixing but I've been anxious to do more tattoos so I put some in a bottle after 20 hours. I applied some to my hand and not more than a half hour later, it started to dry and crack off. The deep color underneath is super rich. I was shocked in such a short time it looked that good. I can't wait to try it on for longer! I'm even looking up how to dye my hair with it. The henna paste turned out smooth. Only minor fine grits, due to sugar. Just have to stir lots.
