Additional two 2in. Straps. ROCK SOLID!! - Worked great on our RAV4! Tent, Coleman stove, two sleeping bags, and clothes inside packing cubes. All loaded inside two 115 L Duffel bags. Each put in large plastic bags for xtra dryness. With a tarp covering both inside the roof bag. I purchased these green two 2 inch wide tie down straps for the best security. Solid as a rock!! Don’t over tighten the attached bag straps to the rack like I 1st did. The strap tore a little. Use them only for stability. HEY, 700 miles to the Sierras and back. Contending with an hour or so of Palmdale/Mojave winds all four attached straps remained strong!! The bag is made of sturdy materials. I could see this bag lasting me several trips or more. Don’t forget to tuck the straps so they don’t flap! They sound scary. Great product. Review: Good bag - This does not look like picture, but it work as it should and I am happy with my purchase. I looked at reviews and I put all my things inside large individual trash bags before putting inside this, I didn't have water leak when driving through rain. Reviews said to not trust straps so I did as suggested and used two straps in an X as to not worry about anything. I put this bad into a roof rack so I wouldn't scratch the top of my van. I would still buy this again to keep water off my luggage, keep it together, and water tight. I did NOT go through much rain so can't tell you how water tight it was. Didn't have that problem and I am very happy with this bag. ## Features - 20Cubic Feet - Carrying capacity - The whole point of the purchase us to provide additional cargo room, so it makes no point to buy one that is not big enough. the roof bag overall size is 51.1'' x 39'' x 17'', Carry 20 cubic feet. Larger than other brand. - Roof bag fits all cars with or without roof rack,Soft Car Top Carrier - There is no ”Best Soft Car Top Carrier”. Instead, the best one is the one that satisfies your specific needs. However, we provides the best all-around value and is likely to satisfy more consumers. We provides larger capacity ( 20 Cubic ), top PVC material, convenient design and more security. - Easy Mounting & Storage Design - Design with 6 short tie straps & 2 long straps, make it easy to attaches in only a matter of minutes. Our Carrier is purely malleable, more simple to store than the carrier with stiff inner-lining ( storage bag included ). - Waterproof - PVC Materials - The torrential downpour will test merely water resistant materials to their limit and likely result in damp or soaked contents. But our car top carrier is coated with PVC to aid in waterproofing ( inside and out ),NOT ONLY WATER RESISTANT like other brand. - 6 Tough Straps - More Security- Alongside carrying capacity, stability is arguably the most important factor in a car top carrier. We Provide 6pc wide straps & 2pc 3M straps. To some extent, the more straps used to fasten the carrier to the roof the better. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07XCSZHM6 | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #19,418 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #11 in Vehicle Soft-Shell Carriers | | Brand | MIDABAO | | Brand Name | MIDABAO | | Closure Type | Zipper | | Color | BLACK | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 2,818 Reviews | | Included Components | Comes with housing | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 51.1"L x 39"W x 17"H | | Item Type Name | XIANGBAO | | Item Weight | 3.94 kg | | Manufacturer | MIDABAO | | Manufacturer Part Number | M-02-02 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 | | Material | Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Nylon | | Material Type | Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Nylon | | Model Number | M-02 | | Mounting Type | Roof Mount | | Number of Items | 6 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 51.1"L x 39"W x 17"H | | Shell Type | Soft | | UPC | 797805165828 | | Volume | 20 cubic feet | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MIDABAO - **Color:** BLACK - **Item Weight:** 3.94 kg - **Material:** Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Nylon - **Product Dimensions:** 51.1"L x 39"W x 17"H ## Images ![20 Cubic Waterproof Duty Car Roof Top Carrier-Car Cargo Roof Top Bag, Waterproof & Coated Zippers includes Anti Slip Mat with or without Racks (20 Cubic Feet) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51zGV2N15fL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: why does the video have misleading and false adverts out a “complimentary” abrasion pad? One star for false advertising. Amazon should suspend seller** A: It does not come with the abrasion pad as advertised. This arrived the day before our vacation and my husband discovered that it didn't come with the pad. Had no time to purchase one so we had to stuff everything in our car. Very disappointed. Spent money on the carrier and the bars and weren't able to use either. **Q: Does it come with the roof protector?** A: It does NOT come with one, despite the installation video referencing an “included” mat. **Q: Can this work with door hooks for van without a roof rack?** A: Yes. There are straps with hooks that you attach to the roof frame where the door meets the frame. You’ll find rubber cushioning along the frame which you need to pull down to position the hooks. The cushioning goes back when you take the hooks off. Before you buy it, just inspect the frames to make sure there are lips underneath the cushioning. **Q: Incluye alfombra para proteger el techo? Le sirve a una ford escape 2013?** A: si pero no lo compras si uive todo tus cosas se van a mojar ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2 duffels. Additional two 2in. Straps. I opted for the 15 cu ft and had to adjust my front cross bar forward to ensure it fit perfectly between them. I anchored the carrier with the provided straps to the back door jams and tethered the buckles and 2 longer straps to the cross bars. It was very snug and secure. It held several carry-on sized bags and many smaller items to fill the voids. I first filled it with our bags inside, took a picture, and then put it on top the car knowing how I needed everything to fit. We traveled cross country and on the way back through snow, ice, and rain. After reading other reviews, we did prepare by putting everything inside individual trash bags just in case it might leak - it did. Not much considering what we drove through but definitely protect your things as needed. After the trip, everything folded nicely back into the provided bag for storage. Overall I was very happy with the purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - MIDABAO 20 Cubic Waterproof Duty Car Roof Top Carrier-Car Cargo Roof Bag Car Roof Top Carrier - Waterproof & Coated Zippers- includes Anti-Slip Mat- for Cars with or without Racks (20 Cubic Feet) - ROOF CARGO BAG PROTECTIVE MAT for Car Roof Storage Bags with EXTRA PADDING and GRIP Place the car roof mat under any rooftop cargo bag TOP UNIVERSAL ROOF RACK PAD for PROTECTION from Car Roof Racks - TOOENJOY Universal Fit Car Door Step, Foldable Roof Rack Door Step Up on Door Latch, Both Feet Stand Pedal Ladder, Easy Access to Rooftop for Most Car, SUV, Truck, Max Load 400 lbs(Orange --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/165056638-20-cubic-waterproof-duty-car-roof-top-carrier-car-cargo](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/165056638-20-cubic-waterproof-duty-car-roof-top-carrier-car-cargo) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
