The light is super bright, but you can also dim it with the remote control. The remote works great, and the lights look beautiful. The only thing is that sometimes the strip comes off a little bit put you just have to press it down and it shouldn't come up again. Make sure to wipe/clean the surface of where you'll be hanging these so the dust doesn't affect how well it sticks to your surface.
