The short key is about the size that would fit a small padlock . The longest key is about the size of an old door key . None are the same size or design . **Q: Are any of them hollow?** A: Yes,they are all hollow. **Q: I was wondering if the keys can be bent enough to make hooks?** A: I don’t think so i bent one by mistake and it broke **Q: How many are flat sided and how many of the 12 are rounded on both sides?** A: Only 2 are flat on the back, and one of them is flat on the head only. I am a key collector and there are some keys in this collection that I have not seen anywhere else. One has a 3D globe on it that makes it look like a tiny weapon from the Middle Ages. Another has a built-in clock. For you steampunk enthusiasts out there, there is even one for you. It's very large (see photo) and has all sorts of gears on it. I was stunned at the low price for such beautiful well-made keys. $8.00 for 12 unique keys is a real bargain. I love them just to play with. Despite their appearance of heaviness, they are light enough to be made into pendants and if one used them to create a mobile or other art piece, it would certainly be a conversation-starter.
