This is her 2nd stone, the previous was 4mm and caused a blockage & infection and had to be removed by URS surgery. This new stone caused a lot of blood in her urine for about 3 days and she was in quite a bit of pain. One evening the pain got so bad I had to take her to the ER. The stone showed it had traveled down the entire ureter in 4 days, so it’s almost to the bladder….but the pain was unbearable for her, and it’s awful to see your child in that much pain and not be able to help. Gave her one pill on Sunday morning and she didn’t need any pain relievers. It’s now Thursday and I’ve given her 3 pills a day Monday-Thursday and she has had zero pain at all. She says she feels normal and I can tell she’s feeling a lot better because she’s acting goofy again & singing and dancing around the house. We haven’t seen any stones yet, but there were tiny brown specks in her urine the first day.
