The OM Pillow is designed according to the traditional Taoist principles of harmonizing Yin and Yang. The outer casing of the OM Pillow is made of premium organic cotton, with a specially designed compartment for the insertion of our custom herb satchels. All materials used in OM Herb Pillows are 100% natural. OM Pillows create no off-gassing of harmful chemicals that are found in many conventional pillows. The Materials: (1) Buckwheat - the Yin side of the pillow is filled with buckwheat hulls. Buckwheat has been used as a pillow filling in Asian cultures for centuries. Just as Yin energy is substantial yet yielding, the buckwheat filling is firm, yet contours to the shape and weigh of the head and neck during sleep. (2) Down and Feather - This is the Yang side of the pillow. As a contrast to the firmer buckwheat side of the pillow, the light fluffy blend of premium duck down and feather provide an alternative sleeping experience depending on the user's preference.
