They are strong enough to get tough baked on stains off of cookware and dishes, without ever scratching them. My favorite part is that they never get stinky like a sponge. They rinse easily but for safe measure I like to through them on the top rack of my dishwasher each time I run it. I won't ever use anything else again. Can't beat the price and they last forever.
