STEP 3 Turn the tool's forcing screw clockwise with either an air or and wrench. (Note: reverse thread) STEP 4 Once bearing cup has been removed, repeat the process on the remaining bearing cups. Review: Not a quality tool - The product is not worth buying. It broke when I used the impact wrench to tighten the bolt to remove the old universal joint on my Toyota Tacoma drive shaft. The material needs to be more durable and stronger because the threading on the bolt stripped off when it was being tightened. Review: Useless brittle tool - I don't normally write reviews but this item does not meet expectations at all. I first try to use it to remove a U joint from a Jeep drive shaft, and the lip on the puller would not grab the Yoke on the drive shaft. I then try to use it to remove a u-joint from an axle shaft, and not only did it fail at removing the U-joint it's bent and is now completely useless. To top it all off, the manufacturer's "warranty" website is non-functional and leads you to a Spam website. It worked great. It made short work of the u joint change. No beating and banging to get the u joint. I know some of the reviews complain about the quality, maybe they've fixed that issue.
