I just ground the adapter on my drill press motor to fit the blade tightly; and I cut the fins down about 1/4" - to fit motor cover. It works fine now. I gave it a five cause it works fine and is sturdy enough - it does what it's meant to do - with maybe a little modification. Review: Works great!!! - It was so easy to replace the old fan with this part.
