It’s very quiet and I noticed my nose wasn’t as dry within a few days. However, I wouldn’t recommend using hard tap water in it because the hole where the water comes out gets clogged with residue after a few days. It’s kinda tricky to clean as well. It's perfect for my desk space. I was really looking forward to being able to breathe through my nose today.... it's so dry in my office. Alas, the thing does not work. It lights up pretty but no matter how much I charge it, or what I do, it doesn't emit any moisture. I think I will try exchanging it for another... or not. I don't know if I want to take another chance on it. My last humidifier worked great.
