Color me skeptical but I like to try everything before I trust in it during an emergency. So, I picked up one of these and used it. I filled it pretty quickly and without any mess at all. It all went into the Bob and not slopping around in the tub. The form fit the tub almost perfectly and it filled completely. The siphon thingie works fabulously and I really like how it shrinks down as the water empties and keeps air out. Nice feature there. But, like all things, there is a catch. This product is absolutely a one use item. I fiddled about with it trying to figure out a way to re-use it if I were ever in a situation where it couldn't be replaced. And no, there's no way to dry it out. I tried a blow drier up near the tube...uh, yes, that was dumb. I tried it though. Hanging it up...nope. Not even slitting it open in a discreet location and then blow drying it out is completely clean and I would have doubts about the ability of a repair to hold under pressure. Of course, there is the ability to keep filling it. If you are in an emergency where the water isn't flowing regularly, as long as this thing is in use there's no reason not to keep filling it up. That gives it even great value. Overall, given the price right now on desertcart, you can store water safely for about 20 cents a gallon.
