Ive not been sble to find any specs** A: I will be using this on a 25 ft homemade tugboat. I designs the fore deck & anchor rode locker for this windlass. I felt the 1000 with 5/16 chain & 5/8 line was overkill for my boat. I have been pulling the 1/4 chain & 1/2 in. line by hand for 12 years but as I am getting older I want the windlass so I can retrieve the anchor from the pilot house. I believe in using the largest anchor gear you can handel but the rig I have has served me well. Have ridden out 70 mph winds & now have a Brait braided line that can pick up the entire boat.
