Our windlass kits are designed for boats from 28' - 38' and for chain sizes 1/4" G4 chain. **Q: Does this come with an anchor roller (piece that bolts to the boat right in front of the windlass and holds the anchor)? If not, what one works best?**
A: No it does not the one that works best for my boat is a self launching set up with a delta anchor

**Q: does anyone know the retrieval speed?**
A: Hi Jay, The Profish 700 retrieval speed is 105' per min. Let us know if you have any other questions.

**Q: is the bolt pattern and wiring the same on the 700 and 900?**
A: Same on the 700 as it is on the 1000

**Q: I have a 24' hard top thompson fisherman, is yhe pro fish 700 ok to use, or would you recomend the 1000?  Ive not been sble to find any specs**
A: I will be using this on a 25 ft homemade tugboat. I designs the fore deck & anchor rode locker for this windlass. I felt the 1000 with 5/16 chain & 5/8 line was overkill for my boat. I have been pulling the 1/4 chain & 1/2 in. line by hand for 12 years but as I am getting older I want the windlass so I can retrieve the anchor from the pilot house. I believe in using the largest anchor gear you can handel but the rig I have has served me well. Have ridden out 70 mph winds & now have a Brait braided line that can pick up the entire boat. So I feel I am OK.
