I’m usually very thorough in my investigation of things but, I do fail myself sometimes. I am not overly content with this micro SD card but, It’s not at all the fault of the card or the maker. I mean, it’s working as it should and I Hope it continues. No, it’s the fact that I didn’t read and understand the information correctly. It clearly says it “Reads” up to 85MBps. I simply didn’t realize it said READ only. Being that the READ rate is often 2,3, or even 5 times or more than the WRITE rate, which is the true measurement when you’re transferring files. I was a bit frustrated when I saw this thing writing at 9MBps to 14MBps. People seem to be happy with its longevity so, I will be happy to keep it and Know, when I need to transfer big files, to bring a lunch. Haha! You never know, if it lasts and the price is right, I may buy another in the future. I just Really like to get things done quickly. Especially when I Know I can easily have that technology to save precious time. I will promise this, if it handles a great deal of work, over a long period of time, I will be back to tout it, as I will be back to inform of a fail. I only ran it a couple of tests and it’s in a camera now. Hopefully it will perform better on its next test. So far though, it works fine and the only reason why it’s only receiving 3 stars, is because I don’t like a slow drive but, as I’ve stated at the start, it’s Not their fault. I hope this helps you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Old" MicroSD set of cards for a reasonable price *by L***K on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2019* Purchased a 2 pack of Silicon Power 32GB "High Speed" MicroSD cards with adapters for just under $10. I was mainly looking to replace my old card I've been using in my Raspberry pi for the past couple years with something "newer" but didn't want to spend a whole lot on it. Saw the set of 2x 32GB cards for less than $10 and thought that was the right price. I was a bit concerned with the card since they were labeled as being "old" and the packing sure did look like it was the most current design I've seen at the stores, but those fears ended up being unfounded.One card got immediate used to re-flash my Pi with the latest Raspian, and the Pi3 has been running just fine. No hiccups or complaints from the OS when it was first booted up. Has been running none stop crunching data for the past couple days and the card seems to have held up just fine.As for the "Read Up to 85MB/s" claim made in the package, I'm not too sure what they were talking about. Fine print in the back says the speeds are "based on USB 3.0 UHS-1 card reader" but rate may vary depending on hardware. I plugged my card directly into my PC's Rosewill Multicard reader (Amazon Product code# B007YDJJFS) that's connected to my PC via a USB 3 connector, and I was only seeing 18 MB/s using AJA System Test App. Setting were set to a reasonable level, 512MB 1080p HDV mock file. I tried it a 256MB 720p 16bit mock file and got similar results, ~18MB/s. I'm not concerned about the read/write speed since the card is not going to be used for anything too sensitive to latency, but felt like it was worth mentioning.Overall, I'm happy with the 2x 32GB cards for under $10, I thought that it was a reasonable price for a decent set of cards. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid performance for the price, speeds similar to equivalent rated major brand cards. *by Z***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2019* This review is for the two pack of 64GB cards. Packaging is good and similar to other cards with included full sized sd adapters. Performance wise they are similar to Samsung EVO Select (U3 rated) and Sandisk Ultra (U1/A3 rated) of the same capacity I've tested.Sequential R/W was about 93/60 MB/s. Rated speeds are slightly higher at 100/90, the difference could be due to my card reader, regardless I'm satisfied with this. Random access was slower as expected with reads > 6MB/s and writes > 2MB/s, similar to other A1 rated cards I've tested.
