We don’t always stop on long trips where there is water available and you’re never sure how far you’ll be from a hydrant at a rodeo and when it’s hot I don’t want to walk my horse and bucket very far. I just fill a bucket with these at the trailer and carry on about my business. Two will typically water 3 horses even in hot weather. It would be good for a picky horse that will only drink “home water”. We even tossed it in the truck full to refill water bottles during the day.
