Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Merrell Proterra Sport Hiking Shoe - BRINDLE *by 5***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2014* After reading the other posts about the size running a bit large I ordered a 9.5 when I usually wear a 10. That was a good choice. They do seem to run a bit large. The 9.5 is a perfect fit for me and there is still adequate room for foot swell after a long day of hiking. The shoes are super comfy right out of the box and seem to hold up well. One note on the Brindle color- I expected it to be a little more light gray from this picture but it's really more of a tan or almost light brown. If you do a Google search and look at Images you can get a better feel for the color than this picture. I have had many Merrell's over the years and drifted away the last few years, man am I glad I am back. These are great shoes. I feel like I can confidently give them 5 stars because I did previous research on sizing. Had I not, I would have to take away a star.
