It is a bit small but if your horse puffs his stomach out like mine does thats why. It has padding on the inside for your horses withers. He’s 14.3h Arabian and the only negative was that it barely fits and is a bit too large. I know others complained that it was too small, so I wanted to make small horse owners aware that it’s not necessarily true for every horse. This barely fits my guy on the smallest settings, but overall I’m happy with the quality for the price. The important thing is that it didn’t shift on my unruly youngster.

**Q: Will this fit a hackney pony - 12.2hh**
A: If your horse has a girth of less than about 66 inches, it will not. Use a sewer's tape and check the pony's girth, around just behind the withers. If he's that big around or bigger, it should fit.

**Q: Would this fit a yearling qh?**
A: It just fits my 13.3h cob with a couple notches left. So depending on your yearling's size, possibly.

**Q: can anyone tell me what the inches is diamenter around is adjusted to the largest adjustment. NOT how tall your horse is!**
A: It measures about 70 to 71 inches all the way around at the largest adjustment!

**Q: Why does the description say lime**
A: Lime could be a description of color

This is a good quality item, it doesnt slip and it has lots of nice rings for different head carriage. It is a bit small but if your horse puffs his stomach out like mine does thats why.
