A: The heating button is the on/off for heat and then the temperature button controls the temp.

A: Up to mens 10

A: Motorized.. it took a min to get used to because I’m ticklish.. but you have the option to turn them on or off..

**Q: Can you put a plastic cover before dumping water I. It**
A: I don’t understand the question. 
It has a partial plastic cover where the controls are and a drain plug at the bottom or you can dump it out from the top which I do. 
It’s a great soaker massager the Heater works great on it and The massager is surprisingly good as well.
