I buy them for baby showers, baptisms/dedications/christenings/naming ceremonies/etc., first birthdays, holiday gifts, etc. I think I bought 6 or 7 Indestructibles of various titles in the past two months for holiday and birthday gifts for the babies and toddlers in my life. I have bought this particular title twice recently. Most of the titles (like this one) have stories now, but the early titles didn’t have many words and you could just make up your own. These books hold up to chewing, attempts to tear them, sticky hands, etc. Just wipe them down or toss them in the wash or in your dishwasher to clean them, lay them out to dry, and they’re ready for anything your kid can throw at them—literally. They are thin, so it’s very easy to tuck a few into a purse or diaper bag, seat back pocket in the car, and we have even taken them as entertainment on flights. Review: ACTUALLY Indestructible - My 2 year old nephew loves reading but has a habit of destroying books, regardless of the material. For his birthday, I set on a mission to find "indestructible books", which I thought would be impossible. I ordered this book with low expectations. My expectations were lowered even further when I received the book. I thought, "there's no way this thin book is indestructible." I had to put it to the test. I tried tearing it, ripping it, etc. and NOTHING. These are actually SO DURABLE, I'm shocked.
