This stainless steel set of four even comes with a little brush that ensures your straws are absolutely clean inside. I am also careful to wash them with scalding hot water and I polish the outsides with a soft cloth so that they retain their shiny exteriors. The only thing you need to remember is not to chew on them while you're sipping your drink.
