He said he had a spare in his trunk (how prepared!), and that I could rent that one. I told him to continue checking. After another 15 minutes, he said the device was just not coming online. I told him that I would sign off on his work, but that I was not going to rent from TWC. I'd buy another (if needed). Within 30 seconds of the tech leaving, I called TWC Customer Service in Cincinnati and spoke to Adrianne. We went through my account line by line. Curiously, my MAC address was not correct. Even more curious, my modem, after being pinged, reset, and re-powered, worked. Thank you, Adrianne. This modem works great. Just watch out for technicians who will try to con you. Review: It works well BUT!!! - This was cool but I only wish I could use my own password settings and although it shows a power cord I didn't receive one with it. desertcart had to send me one. For this reason I gave it a three... disappointing!
