A negative detail that stands out is that the overly perfect teeth are an obvious, solid denture-like unit and look cheap up close, with no actual gaps between them. As other reviewers have noted, the rib fronts and sternum are both a different color and another material than the main body. They are a glaring mismatch of color and texture. He's not exactly impressive, but he will get the job done. Pros: Anatomically correct (as far as I can tell). Free standing (as opposed to hanging) Some removable part such as skull (with removable caranium for internal study), altas and axis Moveable joints in extremities Spinal nerves Simple to put together, took about 5 minutes Cons Pelvis is warped and not symmetrical Wheels do not glide smoothly, at all. Plastic stand was difficult to put together, I had to hammer the legs into place and risk breaking them. Does not come with instructions. I have an extra piece of metal for the stand and I'm not sure what to do with it. Seeing how other skeletal models were close too $1000, I'd say this was a bargain and will definitely help with studying.
