Gourmesso Decaf Variety 50 - Decaf Espresso Capsules Compatible with Original Line Nespresso Machines - Fair Trade Certified.

I’m a nursing mom and latte addict and unfortunately it seems like caffiene impacts my little one’s sleep (and therefore mine). I picked this because it was the most diverse variety of decaf pods I could find (plus, way cheaper than Nespresso brand pods - yay). I tried the vanilla flavored espresso first and nearly gagged. It was watery, had virtually no crema and this awful medicinal bitterness. I nearly threw all of these away. Thank goodness I didn’t because the other flavors ended up being amazing! They also had satisfactory crema - not quite as good as the brand name pods, but good enough given the cost savings. I’ve never actually tried the Nespresso brand vanilla flavored espresso, so maybe I just don’t like that flavoring for espresso in general. The real gold was the chocolate flavored espresso which not even Nespresso offers in decaf. I’m not even a big chocolate or mocha person, but that flavor was heavenly. I will note that two of the pods in this batch did not work, which is a common problem with off brand nespresso capsules, which is annoying, but I would still buy again. Though if Gourmesso were ever to offer only the decaf chocolate flavored pods, I’d probably just buy those in bulk.

I was not impressed with the vanilla or the chocolate. I have been spoiled by a local roaster here in Kansas City who makes an amazing decaf chocolate coffee (it just doesn't come in capsules). The flavors are weak, but that may be exactly what some of you are wanting. I did enjoy the Peru capsules. Those are not bad at all — not my favorite, but definitely drinkable.

My wife does decaf, and likes the vanilla and chocolate. The Columbian Bogata was her favorite, says it has the best real coffee flavor (she tends to like sweet, but likes this one better than the flavored).The Peruvian Dolce made up 2 of the boxes and yet is her least favorite. I wish I could order individual boxes/counts instead of "packs" on Amazon. I order direct from gourmesso about 1/2 the time if I have a larger order.

I had read a review that these were most like the original Nespresso capsules, but I disagree. VERY mild flavor, you have to use 2 to get much flavor at all. And they don't work very well in the machine, sometimes falling through and other times getting stuck. The only good thing is they are decaf and Nespresso only makes 2 decaf capsules.

Not as strong as some other espressos (if you are looking for bold coffee flavor, this is not that). Delicious vanilla flavor - smells amazing coming out of the nespresso machine, and tastes lovely.

Did not fit my coffee maker couldn't use any of them because they were too small a waste of money and time

The pods weren't great, unfortunately. When compared to other pods (Nespresso and bestpresso), the tops do not puncture as well, and the coffee ends up being very light and watery. Will not buy again. I prefer bestpresso. If I could return these I would because I will not drink them. You know how sometimes you forget to put a new coffee pod in the machine and push the brew button for a second time and it is like brown water? That's what these look and taste like. Gross.

I have been purchasing Gourmesso capsules for quite some time and appreciate the variety of flavors in both caffeinated and decaffeinated as well as the pricing. I will continue to buy Gourmesso brand.

You get what you pay for: significantly less expensive than official Nespresso capsules, this particular brand has fit issue with my Essenza Mini.Issues:- capsule drop straight through before you can even close the compartment to pierce it- capsule doesn’t fit in a way the piston can hold it and pierce it, requires fiddling till you can get it right- doesn’t pierce properly (only half the holes punch through)- gets stuck in ejection mechanismAll in all, no I won’t buy this brand again.Too risky for the machine; not worth bothering when capsules from other brands aren’t that much more expensive yet they fit better (and arguably taste better too: the Lavazza decaf for example tastes almost like real brewed Lavazza decaf, costs the same as these and doesn’t require fiddling).

The Peru dolce decaf are unfortunately landfill... They don't work in the machine at all, they were likely air shipped and got compressed in flight so all 3 boxes were unusable. See pictures... 2 of these are from after I locked them in the machine, it didn't even puncture front or back.We've ordered a couple hundred gourmesso pods and had no problems with the regular, only decaf, but since this issue we've changed to the gourmesso Eco compostable pods. The compostable aren't as strong which sucks, but they actually work, and are so much better environmentally.

I am trying to cut the amount if caffeine I consume. I have tried other decafs and they upset my stomach. This one doesn’t upset my stomach and has the strong coffee flavour I want! The flavours are nice too!

Not a bad product overall.. however the chocolate and vanilla flavors are kind of gross and a weird addition to the pack.

Les capsules font faire un bruit fort lors de l'insertion. En faite elle brise direct et une fois sur deux le café est vraiment pas bon ...Bref je vais peut être même pas les utiliser car j'ai peur de forcer sur ma machine.Dommage!
