Some details I can note about this product are the following :- easy to use and lightweight.- safe to use as the fluid doesn't leak at all- adjustable. light as much as you need.- handy. Can be used everywhere like lighting candle, barbecue etc.I'm happy about this purchase as it's quality and price meet my requirements as a customer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, functional item *by P***C on 12 February 2020* I nearly gave this 5*, which would be "perfect", but I dropped a star for a couple of reasons. The first is that you have to make sure the flame control switch at the side is on "super-burner" (the blue flame), not the weaker (yellow) flame setting before you attempt to light it. If you don't know or understand this, you will keep pressing the ignition button, waste gas and it won't light.Secondly, you have to make sure the "gas-on" button on the top of the device is on. Gas starts to flow when this is pushed forwards and in theory you could do this accidentally, in which case the gas would simply empty from the tank without you knowing if, for example, it was in your pocket and the "gas-on" pushed forwards to the "on" position. Admittedly, however, the button does need a firm press forwards to switch the gas flow on, so in reality I suspect accidental gas release and emptying of the tank would not often occur. Something worth knowing about though.The ignition button is at the bottom of the device and so I find that you must use both hands to light the gas. The order of operation is: flame control to blue/"super" flame function; then push the "gas-on" slider forwards (you can then hear the gas escaping; then whilst holding the device with one hand, push the ignition button in firmly (at the base of the device) with the other hand to light it.The other thing is, there is no indicator to let you know when the gas tank if full. You just have to assume that you have given it long enough for the gas to flow from your storage can to the device on-board tank, but there is no way to tell. Filling is, however, fairly easy and seems to work ok, unlike some of the the other "refillable" devices (which don't refil at all).It's a great little device for the money. I like the idea of being able to refil it time and again, rather than buy the "disposable" ones, that are a waste of resources. I would recommend the product. It's good quality at a fair price. ### ⭐ Failed to work from the minute I got it *by K***N on 12 December 2022* The media could not be loaded. I unpacked it, it looked sturdy and well made, first issue no visible area to see amount of gas. Filled with gas and tried to ignite but would not ignite. Noticed that when I turned it off gas still could be heard coming out. It eventually ignited turned off the gas and there was still a flame for sometime which which fluctuated in size and then enveloped the whole end of the torch. Then could not get it to ignite again.
