I can tell you that there is an option to update the firmware but there haven't been new updates since I own the product. I am still waiting for the new update for the player so it can playback Dolby Vision (since the Last update carried problems) but I cannot answer properly your question. Maybe Multisystem Electronics can provide a dar more accurate response. **Q: Again i must write about this multiregion player that refuses to play my region b discs. i tried everything but nothing.what shall i do?** A: Hi. To change regions, I need to display home screen then push the 2 button on the remote. Make sure the light on player flashes then you know it worked. Then discs play OK. I've had no problems so far. Being that my first DVD player in 1997 cost £500, this is pretty good value for money, as it can play dvds and blu-rays from all regions. ### ⭐ Wrong country *by M***. on 8 March 2020* I bought this player because it was multi region, though I wasn’t too concerned about multi region Blu-ray just came with it . most of my Blu-rays are region free anyway. unfortunately when I put a regions B in it didn’t play because the Blu-ray player is region A , USA region not a problem I thought I will just use the instructions to change it to regions B it wouldn’t do it, tried repeatedly then I tried the helpline number which doesn’t exist 🤬why they would sell a player that was on region A any way is beyond ? me so quite 😠 annoyed.
