It packs very small and flat but has a tremendous amount of space. I had my travel wallet, a rain jacket, a hoodie, a small coat and souvenirs in it for day trips and still had room. It was a lifesaver as well when my suitcase was over weight. I pulled it out, packed it full, and checked it. Great bag for hiking, camping or travel.
