The Alarm Lock Trilogy T2 standalone electronic digital keypad cylindrical lock leverset supports up to 100 user entry codes of 3 to 5 digits for secure keyless entry, is for installation on exterior and interior doors, has a satin chrome finish, and a reversible lever handle for right- or left-hand operation. The leverset can be manually programmed through the keypad, and LED indicators and sound provide feedback for code entry and programming. It has a cylindrical lock mechanism and a solid brass fixed key cylinder for key override to engage or release the lock. The leverset is rated for temperatures from -31 to +151 degrees F (-35 to +66 degrees C) for use on exterior, as well as interior doors. The lever handle can be installed for right- or left-hand operation. The leverset trim is made of stainless steel with a satin chrome finish that resists corrosion. The leverset is powered by 5 AA batteries (included). **Q: Battery replacement? do i need to replace the pack or just use any double aa batteries**
A: Just the batteries. There’s a battery compartment on the inside that requires a phillips head screwdriver to access.

**Q: Is this lock fully weather resistant?  I want to install it on a back yard gate that is fully exposed to all elements, including full rain.**
A: I installed it on a gate. Worked fine until yesterday when we got snow followed by rain and single digit temps (nowhere close to the -35 degrees it's supposed to be built for). The buttons were frozen and non-functional and the lock was frozen as well.

**Q: Core Cylinder dose it come with, Schlage?**
A: With the T2 and amazon. The description would say either IC core or SC1 key way. What he wants to look for is SC1. Not IC core. Be careful when it does not have either it usually is IC mainly because this is a industrial type of lock.

**Q: Will this install in a standard commercial steel door?**
A: yes, it was meant for a commercial door of 1 3/4".  Also has spacers included for a 1 3/8 and 2" as well but has a 2 3/4" backset only.  A 2 3/8" backset can be ordered separately.
