Review: Great zero calorie sugar substitute! - I love this sweetener! It dissolves quickly and thoroughly, it is the consistency and texture of regular sugar. It has a slight cooling feeling but I like that. I haven’t tried baking with it yet but will update the review if I do. I use it in my coffee and tea and it tastes great and is much healthier than using sugar. Excellent quality. I’m very happy with this as my sugar substitute because all other sugar substitutes make me feel miserable.
Review: This is good stuff! It does the trick. - This is great stuff. I used to use 2 cups of suger to make a gallon of sweet tea. After having my gallbladder removed, I had to make a change. I gradually starting cutting back on the sugar and substituting this Monk Fruit, like 1/2 cup real sugar 1/2 cup MF. Then, after a bit, 1/4 cup suger & 1/2 cup MF, and so on, now I jsut add the 1/2 cup MF to 1 gallon tea and it's good sweet tea. Once you get used to it, it great. This does not give me the heebie jeebies like the other sugar substitutes do. I can't do the pink, yellow, blue stuff. Monk Fruit does not bother my stomach in any way or make my skin crawl like the others do.

**Q: Is this really just monk fruit? Where do the 4 sugar alcohols come from if it is just monkfruit? Would love manufacturer to answer this question**
A: As of Feb 2023, the nutritional label shows NO sugar alcohols. It must have changed since this question was originally posted.

**Q: What country is it sourced from? China?**
A: Monk fruit is grown in China. The fruit was discovered in China. It is naturally from there.

**Q: Does this product contain any sugar alcohol?**
A: You can see from her attached photo that the serving size is 1g, but states that in that 1g there's 4g of sugar alcohol. She is not contradicting herself, but simply quoting the packaging. The packaging shown in her photo contradicts itself. 
I would steer clear of it, sounds like they're just making up the specs out of thin air. I wouldn't let something like that anywhere near my coffee. Thanks for posting!

**Q: The bag says I get a free bag of monkfruit at mcdeals.net and they have no sent it or responded to multiple emails. This seems like a scam?**
A: I also had that on my bag and I went to the site and filled out the info.  I have not received mine either.  Not sure what to say about it.

So I'm trying to be all healthy blah blah and cut down on sugar right, like a million other Americans out there. I'm not terribly picky but - my husband is. ESPECIALLY. when it comes to sweet tea. Only his Nana's recipe will do, *literally*. Well Nana, looks like someone CAN improve on your delicious sweet tea after all. I started with half sugar and half monkfruit substitute, and so far, he hasn't been able to tell. (don't say anything to him, because then he'll say he can tell; really it's all in his head). But I do wish this would become more popular and more cost effective!! Poor girl tryna' be fit here, help me out! *Update. If it's full monkfruit zero sugar, he can tell. As can I. It's not "bad" but it's not quite as good taste wise, though this is for very sweet, just sweet tea, not like, mixed into baked goods etc. Overall still my very best substitute, aside from honey! (Honey is higher calorie per unit than sugar but requires less "units", so.. equals less calories overall)
