Maybe, i didn't learn from my first mistake, but there appears to be nothing else which offers the features this lock does and I need. I got it going last time after a lot of effort. This new lock does not connect with the app and have been trying for 2 weeks now and been in communication with their tech support who work different hours to us being in a different continent. It is awful that technical issues render this product useless. Have had the lock fitted to the door which means lots of hole cutouts already. Would now hate to have to change the lock which might necessitate the change of door too. Expensive mistake!The tech support have been helpful and are still trying to assist (2nd Sep 2020), but most of their suggestions have been tried and we are scraping the bottom of the barrel now. No solution in sight though yet. Requested a replacement lock to be sent to me, just in case it is an issue with the firmware on the lock. Waiting for a decision! ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars FC Smarthome fails and stops working *by P***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 January 2021* I installed the FC Smarthome app (on my Samsung Galaxy S7), and was initially able to set up the unit with this, however after a few days the app would no longer start.It now just gives the error "FC Smarthome has stopped".Following research for a solution on the internet, I have tried:1) Uninstalling and resinstalling the app, stopping and then restarting the phone.2) Clearing cache and data from FC Smarthome in the App in settings3) Wiping the cache partition in Android device recovery mode using the "wipe cache partition" option and rebooting.None of these actions have worked, and I am left with a front door lock that I cannot access or configure in any way.
