Tinned. Work great on boat. But I solder and heat shrink all junctions. **Q: It says 1 mile and 2 mile in regards to visibility, which one is it?** A: All I can say is the light is very bright, so I guess, depending on the weather conditions it’s possible, it can be seen as they say **Q: How many amps does this light draw?** A: 130 milliamps at 12V DC. The original light would show white light if you looked at it head on where the green and red lens met. This LED light has a small black separation between the green area and the red area and shows only red and green. It is also much brighter and does not get hot. I would highly recommend this light.
